  3. The biggest sales are made from cold calling. Not everyone can do it and most people are scared to death to do it. The sales people who can supplement other lines of marketing in addition to cold calling will excel!!

  6. Has cold calling EVER yielded good results Keith? Tell me the success rates of cold calling. Why should people force themselves to do something they are uncomfortable with? Especially when it’s something that isn’t very effective. Cold calling is and always will be invasive, pushy, and desperate.

  16. good solution, but no heart involved. The problem is not, to help other people but to get help in form of money from them (by selling them stuff). I know, they know and that makes them naturally suspicious. no possible loss no fear. let´s change that culture.

  20. The MOST important thing you need when making your calls is a “known problem” you know you can solve, then a “NON-Assumption” that you’re prospect is going to want to have that problem fixed.

    This is WHY most salespeople feel FEAR when calling and the underlying root cause for them NOT wanting to pick up the phone for those cold calls.

    All you can do when cold calling is attempt to see if your prospect has a potential problem you solve and then see if they’re OPEN to further ideas on that!
